and the winner goes to...

The Q's ~ for the LOSER blog!

Sorry everyone...what can I say!?!
We've been having a great time since we last blogged...vacationing, goofing off and working when we have to =]

Lil'Q is getting ready for her second piano recital and is playing beautifully. school is a breeze except for mean boys! she continues to collect build-a-bear's by the dozen...she never gets tired of saying that pledge (if you don't know-don't ask).

Papa Q was just recently promoted and is enjoying his new position! The restoration on his Bronco continues and if we ever stayed home, more might be accomplished on it. His ongoing project...the garage, just received a 37in t.v. ~ oye vey!

Mama Q is busy coordinating our vacations and finishing books left and right. Have a friend who loves to read too, so we share =] Scrapbooking is also in full swing with my valentines' day gift of a large cricut (if you don't know...don't ask) :]

The holidays were so nice and spent at home with family and friends. We traveled to the Grand Canyon and rode the Polar Express...super fun! Our planned ski trip to Park City turned into seven days in Maui. Park City hi 25, Maui hi 85. We met a local that said she'd never seen so many whales...it was amazing. By day two of our trip we felt like moving! Just returned from a weekend trip to Disneyland. By chance we booked a suite and felt like VIP's all weekend...nothing new...right!?! heehee
Here are some photos that i hope will catch you up from sept. 09 =/ sorry about that...like you really care...i won't flatter myself!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day

What a Blessing to be a mother to such an amazing child. As I watched her sleep the other night , I thought about what it meant to me to be a mother, and I came to this conclusion...
For me, being a mother is when you realize that you don't want for anything else in this universe other than for your child to be healthy and happy. Sounds simple, but it came to me and I thought...that is it, at least for me!

New Adventure...Desert Camping

Good times had by all in the Mohave Desert

Lil' Q gettin' ready to tear it up...

Fun times with Nana & friends!

Our first experience with desert camping! After some initial trials...we soon loved it! Under the stars, family, campfire cooking, Hank Jr III and off-road vehicles made for a great trip. Mojave Desert was the location and we were there for about three days.
Little Q was a brave girl, even after this quad rolled over on her! Mom and Dad lost some years off of their lives on that one. Nothing serious, but she (and parents) learned a few things!
We can't wait to go back!

Easter was also a really nice time with family too!

The Easter Bunny was good to the girls who enjoyed
Easter eggs from a bunny? Never quite understood that,
but who are we to interrupt the process.
This pix is of lil' miss Q and our adorable and loving niece/cousin.
Gaby loves to spend as much time with her cousin as possible...for us grown-ups we love to see them together!

Well, as the school year comes to a close...we are looking forward to our migration to the BEACH!!! We'll keep you posted on our upcoming family events...It's never a dull moment =]
